Elevayt Ventures

Enterprises have every AI tool they want. Almost none of the governance they need.

Elevayt Ventures builds the platforms that close that gap. SynapBridge is first: the governance layer for regulated industries running AI in production.

The gap

Adoption came first. Control did not.

Most enterprises cannot say what their AI is doing, what it costs, or who approved it.

Every regulated enterprise now runs AI somewhere in production. Most cannot answer three plain questions about it: which models are being called, what each one costs, and whether any of it would hold up under audit.

The market solved the first mile. Models became easy to reach, easy to combine, easy to ship. What it did not solve is what comes next, when a bank, an insurer, or a health system has forty teams calling six providers with no shared control plane and no single view of spend.

That is not a tooling problem. It is a governance problem, and it compounds every quarter adoption continues.

  • No line of sight

AI spend lands on a cloud bill weeks after the decision that caused it. By the time finance sees the number, the behavior is already habit.

  • No enforcement

Policy lives in a document. A model call does not read documents. Between the two sits an assumption nobody has tested.

  • No record

When a regulator or an acquirer asks what happened and who approved it, a usage dashboard is not an answer.

Founder

Founder

Every enterprise technology problem eventually becomes a trust problem. Spent two decades on both sides of that problem: building the infrastructure large organizations depend on, then assessing that same infrastructure from the outside, before an acquisition closes.

AI is running ahead of governance and cost control alike. No one built the layer to close both gaps. Until now.

  • Cybersecurity & infrastructure

Multi-tenant security, before it had a name

Architected the infrastructure and cybersecurity for a multi-tenant hosted platform serving hedge fund and private equity clients, with enforced data segregation across dozens of client organizations.

  • Owned the compliance program

Where reactive governance meets its limits

Transformed a checklist into a control-driven program grounded in ISO 27001 and HIPAA, as Security Compliance Officer for a healthcare and pharmacy organization handling protected health information.

  • Led at scale

    Global teams, enterprise budgets

Managed technology teams across multiple continents and multi-million-dollar modernization programs, embedding cost-governance discipline into how large enterprises run their technology.

  • Diagnosed the pattern

A career spent seeing the gap from outside it

Advises on 100+ M&A transactions a year, including sell-side work preparing companies for exit, and watches AI adoption outpace governance deal after deal.

Four vantage points, one recurring pattern: the control layer always arrives after the thing it was meant to control.

That same vantage point kept surfacing another cost: companies chasing innovation and efficiency, then losing control of AI spend and governance in the process. SynapBridge was built to close both gaps at once, instead of diagnosing them after the fact in another company's deal.

Platform

Platform

SynapBridge is Elevayt Ventures' flagship product: built to be the only one for now, designed so it does not have to be the last.

SynapBridge

Closed beta

An AI governance layer that sits above whatever models a company already uses: Claude, GPT, Gemini, Llama, or infrastructure hosted in-house. Workspaces stay isolated. Spend stays attributable. Regulated teams stay inside their own compliance boundaries.

  • Cost governance

Attribution and budget controls across every model and provider a team touches, so AI spend scales with the business instead of eroding its margins.

  • Compliance & sovereignty

A per-workspace memory layer that is isolated from other tenants and is not used for model training.

  • Threat protection

Monitoring and audit logging built for the scrutiny financial services, healthcare, legal, and insurance teams actually face.

  • Connector governance

Bring-your-own-keys across providers, with centralized control over what each workspace can reach.

What it is not: another place to call a model. The models stay where they are. What changes is that every call now passes through something with the authority to say no.

Most governance tools audit AI activity after the fact, then hand back a report. SynapBridge governs at runtime, enforcing isolation, cost limits, and access controls as every model call happens, across every provider a team uses. The difference shows up in an audit, not just a dashboard.

Additional platforms are in early development at Elevayt Ventures. As they are ready, they will take their place here alongside SynapBridge.

Why Elevayt

Why this team, and why this structure.

Category timing explains why the opportunity exists. It does not explain who should build for it.

  • Built from inside the problem

The architecture comes from having run the systems it governs and having owned the program that gets audited, not from studying the category from outside it.

  • Regulated first, not regulated later

Most platforms add compliance once enterprise deals stall at security review. This one started at that review, because the founder has spent years sitting on the other side of it.

  • A studio, not a single bet

SynapBridge is the first platform, not the whole company. The portfolio structure is built so the second one does not require starting over.

  • Working software, not a roadmap

SynapBridge is in closed beta, so the thesis is being tested in a running product rather than argued on a slide.

For investors

For investors

Elevayt Ventures is a venture studio, not a single-product company. SynapBridge is the proof point: a regulated-industry AI governance platform built by a founder who has spent a career on both sides of the table, building the infrastructure enterprises run on, then diligencing it before acquisition.

  • 100+M&A transactions advised on annually
  • 20+years in enterprise infrastructure & security
  • 3continents of global teams led
  • Timing

Regulated industries are adopting AI faster than they can govern it. Diligence teams already discount valuations for exactly that gap, and the discount grows with every model a company adds without a way to govern it.

  • Margin pressure

AI spend compounds faster than most finance teams can track it. Every dollar spent without governance is a dollar of eroding margin, and that pressure only grows as adoption scales.

  • Founder-market fit

Built by a founder who has run the infrastructure, owned the compliance program, and sat across the table during exit diligence. Not one guessing at the gap from the outside.

  • Studio model

SynapBridge is the first platform, not the last. The portfolio structure is built to support what comes after it.
